Football: It’s the battle of tailgate parties

If you thought the Crenshaw-Dorsey football game is going to be intense, you should see the battle of tailgate parties outside Jackie Robinson Stadium. I’ve never seen so much meat being barbecued.

‘Cougars eat meat,’ said one Crenshaw fan as he grilled assorted varieties of chicken, hot dogs and other delicacies. He was about to put jalipeno burgers on the grill.

The Dorsey contingent was eating away, too, and promising victory.

All were proud alumni coming out to root for their schools. Win or lose, no one is going home hungry.
