Football: George Farmer makes presence felt

The fastest player on the field showed his blazing speed when George Farmer took a pass in stride from Conner Preston and scored on a 59-yard touchdown to give Gardena Serra a 14-3 lead over Arroyo Grande with 52 seconds left in the first quarter of their Western Division championship.

Preston has completed his last two passes for touchdown, and the Cavaliers’ running game is starting to pick up with Shaquille Richard already gaining 60 yards in six carries.
