Freshman wins City diving title

Freshman Ciara Monahan of Woodland Hills El Camino Real won the City Section girls’ diving championship on Wednesday at Valley College. Her sister, Montana, finished in third place. Granada Hills’ Maria Kazantsev finished second.

In the boys’ final, Birmingham’s Jerome Ames took first place. Venice’s Ben Van Aken was second and Venice’s Jordan Kelch was third.
