Football: Dana Hills tournament is Saturday

Set your alarm clock for early Saturday, because you don’t want to miss the 9 a.m. seven-on-seven game set for Dana Hills High School matching Santa Margarita and Long Beach Poly on Field No. 5.

I say it won’t take much to get the intensity level up very early in the Dana Hills passing tournament.

Another outstanding 9 a.m game has City Section title favorite Narbonne facing Bellflower St. John Bosco on Field No. 4.

Count me in.

The tournament goes all day, with the championship game set for 4:30 p.m. The early games are the ones to see before everyone gets tired and banged up.
