Pitcher Henry Owens of Huntington Beach Edison has been selected the Southern Section Division 1 player of the year.
Other players of the year: Austin Saenz of Mission Viejo in Division 2; James Kaprielian of Irvine Beckman in Division 3; Rio Ruiz of La Puente Bishop Amat in Division 4; Adolfo Espinoza of Oaks Hills in Division 5; Brian Holman of Pasadena Poly in Division 6, and James Barraza of Inglewood Amino Leadership in Division 7.
