Baseball: Cypress’ Tyler Alamo contributes to victory at 16-under USA National Team trials

Cypress junior catcher Tyler Alamo had a hit and drove in a run to help the Red Team defeat the Blue Team, 4-2, on Monday during the 16-under USA National Team trials in Cary, N.C.

Harvard-Westlake third baseman Arden Pabst had two hits, an RBI and two runs scored for the Blue Team during an earlier 7-5 victory over the Red Team.

The teams were scheduled to play again Tuesday.
