Redlands East Valley (5-0) handed Mission Viejo (4-2) it’s first regular-season loss to a California team since 2008 in a dramatic, 10-7 victory on Friday.

Redlands East Valley’s Trevor Douglass intercepted a pass on Mission Viejo’s penultimate possession, and the Diablos failed to score when Alex Bridgford’s pass into the end zone was tipped away as time expired.
