New TV show focusing on City Section debuts on LA36

The City Section finally is getting some love. A new weekly TV show, ‘SoCal Prep Report,’ will focus on athletes from the City Section and their exploits. It has its premiere at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday on LA36 and will be shown Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m., Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. and Fridays at 5 p.m.

In November, the show will expand to KLCS, the Los Angeles Board of Education channel.

Randy Rosenbloom and a local sportswriter, me, will debate about lots of issues.

First up as guests are Carson Coach Elijah Asante and USC-bound receiver Darreus Rogers.
