Football: St. John Bosco leads Mater Dei, 24-3

St. John Bosco has restored some luster to the UCLA fight song.

The Braves appear on the way to their first victory over Mater Dei since 2002 after Royce Moore ran for a 10-yard touchdown on fourth and one to give St. John Bosco a 24-3 lead with 4 minutes 40 seconds left in the third quarter.

The Braves have been successful on all three fourth-down conversions they have attempted. DaVonte Young has 157 yards and two touchdowns in 21 carries.
