Girls’ basketball: Mission Prep 30, Rolling Hills Prep 24 at halftime

Top-seeded San Luis Obispo has a 30-24 halftime lead over San Pedro Rolling Hills Prep on Saturday in their Division V Southern California Regional final at Ontario Colony High.

Jenna Dunbar leads the Royals with 13 points on five-for-nine shooting, including three three-pointers. Bri Harvey has seven points and Kaylee Williams added six.

Mar-Jana Phillips leads the Huskies with 15 points and seven rebounds, six on the offensive end. Phillips and Peyton Langston, who have combined for 13 rebounds, are dominating on the boards, giving Rolling Hills Prep many second-chance opportunities.

Mission Prep is outshooting Rolling Hills Prep, 54.9% to 34.4% but the Huskies are outrebounding the Royals, 18-13.
