Baseball: Long Beach Poly clinches a share of league title

Long Beach Poly has clinched at least a share of the Moore League championship for the first time since 1985 after a 20-1 victory over Long Beach Jordan.

Kevin Maxey hit two home runs and Jeff Turley and Peter Fierros also hit home runs for the Jackrabbits.

Long Beach Wilson Coach Andy Hall picked up his 400th career victory with a 2-1 win over Millikan in eight innings. Lakewood defeated Cabrillo, 9-2.
