Baseball: Bates brothers transfer to Gardena Serra

Roosevelt Bates, a junior outfielder, and Solomon Bates, a sophomore pitcher, have transferred from Victor Valley to Gardena Serra, Coach Wil Aaron said.

Both have committed to USC.

They will help make Serra one of the top teams in the Southland if declared eligible by the Southern Section.
