Stones’ Guitarist Ron Wood Weds Longtime Girlfriend
Guitarist Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones has married his longtime girlfriend, model Jo Howard, two British newspapers reported today.
One of the wedding presents reportedly was a pair of matching gold derringers--from Wood’s fellow guitarist, Keith Richards.
The Daily Mirror said Wood, 37, and Howard, 29, were secretly married Wednesday night at the village church of St. Mary’s at Denham in Buckinghamshire.
The tabloid said the couple’s children--Leah, 6, and Tyrone, 16 months--were at the ceremony and that the guests included pop star Rod Stewart, comedian Peter Cook and the other Rolling Stones except lead singer Mick Jagger, who was vacationing in the Caribbean.
