Jackson Radiothon Seeks $1 Million for Coalition

WASHINGTON — Jesse Jackson will conduct a three-hour radiothon Jan. 12 in hopes of raising $1 million for his “National Rainbow Coalition,” an outgrowth of his bid for the Democratic presidential nomination, a spokesman said Friday.
Participants will include comedian Bill Cosby and singers Nancy Wilson, Roberta Flack and Aretha Franklin.
