A 23-year-old Dana Point motorcyclist was fatally injured at 5:10 p.m. when his vehicle collided with a truck on Coast Highway at Alcazar Drive in Dana Point. The victim, Todd Corder, died at 5:52 p.m. at Mission Community Hospital in Mission Viejo after being airlifted there by helicopter, according to the Orange County coroner’s office. The coroner’s office said Corder was traveling north on Coast Highway when he was hit by a southbound truck making a left turn onto Alcazar Drive. The truck driver fled the scene after the accident, the coroner’s office said. The California Highway Patrol late Sunday night reported that a suspect had been arrested in the fatal accident, but the suspect’s identity and details of the arrest were not immediately available.
