Clarence (Ducky) Nash, who was the voice of Donald Duck and several other Disney cartoon characters, has returned home after a week’s hospitalization in St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Burbank, for a fever, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Nash, 80, was admitted to the hospital New Year’s Eve with a fever and underwent several tests during his stay. A spokeswoman at nearby Disney Studios said Nash was also run-down from traveling in connection with Donald Duck’s 50th anniversary year.

In addition to Donald, Daisy and Donald’s three nephews, Nash also supplied voices for crickets and bluebirds in “The Old Mill” and canaries in “Snow White.”
