Rome-based Hewlett-Packard Italiana SPA, Italian unit of Hewlett-Packard Co., Palo-Alto, and Enidata, an informatics arm of state oil company ENI, have entered a software development and marketing accord, ENI said. Reading Co., Philadelphia, said it acquired privately held American Lignite Products Co., Ione. Reading valued the purchase at about $10 million in cash and notes. Data-Design Laboratories, Cucamonga, said it sold the assets of its small-sized Aeroscientific printed wiring board facility in Minnesota. Terms of the cash transaction were not disclosed.
