Cline C. Duff, a Fullerton resident, has been appointed a vice president of Merrill Lynch, Fullerton. Duff joined Merrill Lynch, a New York-based brokerage, as an account executive in 1969 and has served as manager of the firm’s Fullerton branch, which he founded in 1977. TRW Information Services of Orange has named Jerry Hoerauf director of product management and development ofr its Real Estate Information Services unit. A TRW employee for the past 12 years, Hoerauf will manage and direct the expansion of the unit’s title, tax, order processing, policy writing and electronic mail services. Robert L. Erickson has been named vice president and general counsel for Irvine-based Western Digital Corp. Erickson previously had been general counsel and secretary at Greatwest Hospitals Inc. of Santa Ana. Professional Community Management/Johnstown American of El Toro, a manager of condominium and homeowners associations, has announced that Timothy O’Keefe has joined the firm as chief accountant. O’Keefe will be responsible primarily for financial statements and accounting for the various associations,. Nicholas A. Ross has been appointed vice president of business banking for the Bank of America’s 22 branches in its Anaheim Area Management Group. Ross had been an assistant vice president of the bank’s Anaheim main office since 1983. Point 4 Data Corp. of Irvine, a manufacturer of multi-user computer systems, has selected Dan McCrimmon as director of software development. McCrimmon will be responsible for future software development and maintenance of current software products. Toshiba Information Systems Division of Irvine has appointed Thomas B. Ruffolo product marketing engineer. Ruffolo will supervise the division’s marketing efforts for a line of computers with business and professional applications. Leo V. Beaulieu has been appointed vice president of product assurance at AST Research, an Irvine maker of add-on products for personal computers. In the newly created position, Beaulieu will direct the activities of the firm’s Quality Engineering and Quality Control groups to define, measure and implement product standards.
