Huntington Beach
Job Service Expanded: A job placement program of the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce, which placed more than 200 students from Marina High School in part-time jobs last year, has been expanded to include all seven high schools in the district. Huntington Beach Union High School District students may apply for the after-school and weekend jobs through their respective career centers, each of which has been provided with job information by the chamber. Student job-seekers are then screened by school personnel, and only those who meet employer guidelines are sent to apply for a particular job.
