A U.S. cruise missile will be tested...
A U.S. cruise missile will be tested today over largely uninhabited territory in the Canadian province of Alberta that matches terrain in the western Soviet Union, the U.S. Air Force said. A B-52 bomber, flying from North Dakota, will carry the missile but will not release it during the 4 1/2-hour test. The test, similar to one conducted a year ago, will be the first of a series of three to be held by the end of March. Missiles will be launched in the two remaining tests.
