An Inglewood boy who made a dramatic improvement after a visit by his grandmother from Lebanon is suffering from a relapse in his bout against a brain tumor, doctors at Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles said. Nine-year-old Roger Soliman became ill Monday and was readmitted to the hospital on Tuesday, a hospital spokeswoman said. The boy is continuing to receive chemotherapy and there is no evidence that the tumor is growing, Dr. Stuart Siegel said, adding that Roger is showing signs of improvement. The problem could be a reaction to tumor growth or to the tumor starting to fall apart, he said. The boy rebounded from near death on Jan. 4 when his grandmother was brought to the hospital by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He was allowed to return home on Jan. 10.
