FBI Agents and Daly City detectives will go to Taiwan to interrogate suspects in the murder of Henry Liu, a San Francisco journalist whose wife claims he was assassinated by agents of the Taiwan government. Liu, 52, an outspoken political writer for the Chinese-language San Francisco Journal, had finished a critical biography of Taiwanese President Chiang Ching shortly before he was shot to death in the garage of his Daly City home last October. The Taiwanese government has denied any connection with the slaying, but the former chief of its military intelligence bureau has been taken into custody in Tapei for questioning.
