AGANA, Guam —
Strong winds and rough seas hampered a search today for a Navy VA-3B transport plane with nine people aboard that vanished from radar screens and was believed to have crashed in the Pacific Ocean.
The aircraft was reported overdue and missing at 1 p.m. local time after it disappeared from the Guam Air Traffic Control radar about 125 miles north of Guam.
