Raider-49er Exhibition at Coliseum in August
The Super Bowl champion San Francisco 49ers will be at the Coliseum to open the Raiders’ 1985 exhibition season in August. Exact dates have not been announced, but the Raiders also will play August exhibitions against the Washington Redskins and Miami Dolphins at the Coliseum.
The 49ers, Redskins and Raiders have won the last five Super Bowls, and the Dolphins were the losing team last Sunday. The four teams have the best winning percentages in the league since the Raiders moved to L.A. for the 1982 season. Miami and Washington are 33-8 in that period, the Raiders 31-10 and San Francisco 28-13.
The Raiders’ fourth exhibition game will probably be at Cleveland, the club said Friday.
