A BAD WIND OUT OF HOLLYWOOD

I found Calendar’s preview of 1985’s movies most enjoyable (“Previews, Previews, Previews,” by John Horn, Jan. 13), but I’ve gotten wind of a few more upcoming releases you might like to add to your list:

“The Big Box Office Chill” High school chums Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy try to revive Lowe’s career after “Class” and “The Hotel New Hampshire.”

“Angel in My Briefs” A pre-law student by day and hooker by night, Angel works a State Bar convention and takes the law into her own hands.

“Second Blood” Sylvester Stallone leads a mission to Southeast Asia to stop Chuck Norris from making any more movies.

“Lift Me to the Max” Rosanna Arquette and Pia Zadora star as frantic teen-agers stranded on a shopping mall escalator during a power outage.

“Tender, My Foote” Another semi-autobiographical story by Horton Foote recalling his days as chief cook at a fried chicken restaurant in Texas.

“Death Wish Upon a Star” Four N.Y. street punks blow away Charles Bronson in a subway and are hailed as heroes by the ACLU.

“Too Lowe for Zero” High school chums Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy are in college now, but they still can’t get Lowe’s career off the ground.

“No Apparent Plot” Rosanna Arquette and Vincent Spano are two alienated high-schoolers who deal with their problems in a mature and responsible manner without resorting to violence.

“O Emmanuelle, You Devil” The heroines from “The Story of O” and “Emmanuelle” team up to launch an unusual aerobics class. Starring Sylvia Kristel and Rosanna Arquette.

“Rash of the Titans” Four fraternity brothers learn some harsh lessons during a carefree romp through a Baltimore free clinic.

“The Cave of the Bare Clan” An anthropology student goes back in time 25,000 years and discovers he’s embarrassingly overdressed.

“Apocalypse Lowe” Mel Gibson returns as the Road Warrior and finds Rob Lowe’s career in a crack in the Earth.

“A Breed Apart” Walter Matthau and Charles Grodin star in this fantasy about a movie studio executive who dares to make a film without aliens, mutants, vigilantes, special effects and Rosanna Arquette.
