Loyola Marymount University will begin construction next month on a $1.4-million addition to the Periera Hall of Engineering to house its growing computer, math and engineering sciences programs, spokeswoman Mary Mehoke said. Major donors for the 28,000-square-foot structure were the W. M. Keck and the Atlantic Richfield Co. foundations. The new building is expected to be ready for use in October.
