Anaheim-based General Automation Inc. said it has reached an agreement for XCEL Business Systems of San Francisco to market General Automation’s microcomputer systems to financial and banking institutions nationwide. General Automation is a part owner of XCEL.

“XCEL’s market niche is one that General Automation targeted last spring,” Leonard N. Mackenzie, General Automation chairman, said in a statement. “We believe XCEL is in an extremely strong position (as regards) the competition, and will support them to the fullest.”
