Edison 71, Westminster 54--The Chargers took the lead in the first quarter and never gave it up as they easily defeated the Lions at Edison.

Edison was led by junior forward Chris Cole who scored 16 points and junior guard Ken Ammann who had 15 points. Senior forward Mike McConnell had 12 points and 8 rebounds. Sophomore guard Mike Prince, who had 10 points, was the assists leader for the Chargers with 6. Junior center Doug Katona, who had 9 points, was the game’s leading rebounder with 13.

Westminster was paced by sophomore guard Tom Dever with 14 points and senior forward Eric Sherman with 12.

The victory improves Edison’s record to 5-1 in league, 13-6 overall. Westminister is still looking for its first league win at 0-6, 3-13 overall.
