Katella 69, Esperanza 50--After an even first quarter, the Knights took a nine-point halftime lead at Esperanza. Katella (7-3, 15-4) was led by Steve Bennett’s 21 points and teammate Don Yourstone added 16. The Knights outrebounded the Aztecs, 40-27. Esperanza (3-7, 7-11) was led by Dave Eaves’ 21 points.
