Mental Patient Accused of Killing Psychiatrist

SALEM, Ore. —
A 39-year-old man hospitalized for treatment of depression was arraigned Thursday on charges of clubbing a psychiatrist to death after a counseling session.
Kedron E. Ellis was charged with murdering Dr. Brian E. Buss, 37, by beating him with a metal bar at Oregon State Hospital, said Marion County Dist. Atty. Dale Penn. Ellis, who entered no plea, was ordered held without bond.
