Rosemead
Motorists cruising commercial streets in Rosemead soon will see fewer mini-billboards. The City Council has reached an agreement with Independent Outdoor Advertising Co. to replace nine 8-by-9-foot wooden signs with five slightly larger stainless steel ones. The agreement, which was included in an amendment to the city’s sign ordinance, does not affect standard 20-by-40-foot billboards.
