Free income tax assistance for people who are poor, handicapped or over 60 is being provided by the city Senior Citizens Council and the Torrance Chapter of the American Assn. for Retired Persons at the Victor Benstead Plunge, 3331 Torrance Blvd., Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through April 15.
Only the short form will be prepared. No appointment is necessary. More information is available from the Torrance Department of Parks and Recreation.
