Animal Lovers

The animal lovers are doing their best to save the wild goats on San Clemente Island. The animal lovers also damage property to save animals from medical experimentation. Why don’t they do something about the way that at least two breeds of dogs are routinely maimed by their owners with no one saying a word to condemn the vicious and cruel practice? I am writing about Doberman pinschers and Great Danes.

Doberman pinschers have their tails cut with only a small stub remaining while their ears are trimmed and put into a cruel harness until they are healed so they will always stand erect, opening the ear canal, which is normally protected by their ears, to insects and possible infections from burrs and dirt. Great Danes have their ears cut and trained in the same barbaric manner.

Come on, animal lovers, say something. Or do you just worry about animals owned by someone else and allow your own dogs to receive such barbaric mutilations?
