The woman who claimed she was raped by former football great-turned-actor Jim Brown and his female companion told police the female assailant participated physically in the alleged sexual attack, a Los Angeles police detective said. Brown, 49, and Cheryl Moses, 22, were expected to be formally charged early next week with raping the 33-year-old woman. Both were arrested at his Hollywood Hills home. Hollywood Division Detective Tom Maioli said that he interviewed the alleged victim and that she said Brown and Moses raped her after Brown hit her several times at his home Tuesday night. “The victim alleged that private parts of her body were touched by another woman while she was being restrained,” Maioli said. “She said Moses touched her genitals.” The detective said that the case is “hardly beginning” and that additional details will be released when formal charges are filed. Brown is free on $17,500 bail. Moses was released on $1,000 bail. Neither commented on the allegations.
