Work Under Way on 204 Apartment Units in Lompoc

Construction has been started on Ravenswood, a $9.5-million apartment development of the Lincoln Property Co., at 301 W. Pine Ave. in Lompoc.

A spokesman for the Las Vegas-based developer said Ravenswood is the first project initiated by the firm in Santa Barbara County. It is expected to provide employment for more than 100 local construction workers.

The project will include 204 one- and two-bedroom homes in several buildings arranged around a recreation center with swimming pool and spa.
