Sandona is Winner of Scratch Main

John Sandona defeated Rick Miller and Mike Faria Friday night to win the five-lap scratch main event at the Coors Spring Speedway Classic before 6,842 at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa.

In other races, Kelly Moran defeated Bobby Schwartz in a best-of-three-lap match race, 2-1. Tim McCasland won the handicap main event, and Rich Sweeney won the second-division main event.
