Kevin Farrow, student body president at Palomar Community College, has been appointed student liaison officer with the U.S. Department of Education in Washington. Farrow, 23, who lives in La Costa, is to maintain communication between the Department of Education and national student organizations and associations, a department spokesman said. The six-month job pays $6,500. Succeeding Farrow as student body president is Bob Klug, the vice president.
