Actor Sentenced in Tax Case

A Los Angeles federal judge sentenced television actor Christopher Brown Robinson to four months in prison Tuesday for failure to file income tax returns for 1980 and 1981 on $490,440 in income.

Robinson, 46, of Glendale plays Dr. Rick Webber on the series “General Hospital.” He was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Edward Rafeedie. Assistant U.S. Atty. Russell Hayman said that in addition to the federal prison term Robinson was placed on probation for five years and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service work each year of his probation.
