The Tustin computer parts maker announced Friday that it suspended the development of a new computer storage system, which was in the final testing stages, because it lacked the cash to bring the system to market. Wespercorp also said it trimmed its staff by 11 in a cost-cutting move. The company made the announcements amid unusually heavy trading of its common shares on the American Stock Exchange. At Friday’s close, Wespercorp shares stood at $1, down 75 cents for the week.
