CORONA NORCO : Man, 42, Arrested After Corona Shooting
A Corona man was being held Monday in the Riverside County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder.
Florentino Chavez, 42, was arrested Sunday by Corona police after he allegedly shot a Joy Street neighbor in the left foot, said Lt. Sam Spiegel.
The gunshot wound was not serious, Spiegel said. Chavez was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
The shooting was “the result of a neighborhood dispute,” Spiegel said.
