‘Controlled Burn’ Flames Skirt Runway at Dulles

CHANTILLY, Va. —
Flames from a “controlled burn” fire set by government workers got out of control and burned around a runway at Dulles International Airport on Thursday but caused no problems for flights or passengers, an airport spokesman said.
