NCAA Women : NE Louisiana Wins to Gain Final Four
Freshman Chana Perry had 31 points and 14 rebounds Sunday to power second-ranked Northeast Louisiana past fourth-ranked Louisiana Tech, 85-76, at Monroe, La., for the NCAA women’s Midwest Regional championship.
The Lady Indians’ 15th straight victory moved Northeast (30-1) into the Final Four Friday night at Austin, Tex., against No. 5 Old Dominion.
Western Kentucky 72, Mississippi 68--Lillie Mason scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lift the No. 14 Hilltoppers past the sixth-ranked Rebels in the NCAA Mideast Regional final at Bowling Green, Ky.
