Newport Beach Man Convicted of Sexual Assaults
A 41-year-old Newport Beach man accused of sexually assaulting three women was convicted in Orange County Superior Court on Monday of 11 counts of sexual assault.
Paul W. Jensen, a former computer salesman who had been free on $150,000 bail, was grim-faced as a marshal’s deputy took him into custody on orders from Judge David O. Carter.
Jurors deliberated less than two days.
All three women testified against Jensen. Jensen, who was arrested more than two years ago, testified that each of them had consented to have sex with him. One of them had answered an ad he placed in a newspaper offering to rent a room.
Carter scheduled sentencing for May 24.
