Opening is scheduled in August for the Artesia Business Centre, a $13-million, eventual 267,000-square-foot, six-building industrial park being developed by Borstein Enterprises of Santa Monica on 12.7 acres at the southeast corner of Artesia Boulevard and Cherry Avenue, Long Beach.

Phase 1 of the park’s construction will consist of four concrete tilt-up buildings, of 75,600, 51,200, 28,600 and 26,500 square feet and the second phase, two buildings of 54,800 and 30,400 square feet, designed by Development Concepts Corp. of Beverly Hills. The general contractor is Fullmer Construction.

Borstein purchased the site from Tarkett Inc. of Parsippany, N. J., which will lease about 30,500 square feet of one of the first-phase buildings to serve as its western warehouse. The Seeley Co., which represented the lessor in the $1.2-million transaction, is the marketing agent for the center and negotiated the land sale.
