Reaching Out to Latinos:The Senior Citizens Center now has a bilingual outreach worker to help Latino residents participate in programs and services offered by the center. Among the programs are home-delivered meals, van transportation to the center, health and legal services and recreational activities. The center is at 8200 Westminster Ave. in the Civic Center, and is operated by the city’s Community Services and Recreation Department. For more information, call 895-2878.
