WEBBER ‘REQUIEM’ TO HAVE TV PREMIERE

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Requiem” will have its television premiere on “Great Performances” Friday on PBS. “Requiem” is the first musical written in a classical form by Webber, composer of “Cats,” “Evita” and other musical theater shows.
The work was taped at its initial performance Feb. 24 at St. Thomas Church on New York’s Fifth Avenue.
