Congratulations on a splendid article about spring wildflowers in the Santa Monica Mountains. Your readers may be interested to know that the Theodore Payne Foundation maintains a Wildflower Hotline Service from March 1 through May 31 that gives information about which species are in bloom--and where to find them--in the Santa Monica Mountains, Antelope Valley, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, Joshua Tree National Monument and the San Gabriel Mountains.
