Richard Cook was named senior vice president-domestic distribution and Phil Barlow was named vice president and general sales manager for Buena Vista Distribution Co., a unit of Walt Disney Productions, Burbank.

Don S. Matso was named executive vice president of Planned Equity Corp., Los Angeles.

CH2M Hill, a water- and waste-management company based in Los Angeles, elected as a director Sam Ginn, vice chairman of San Francisco-based Pacific Telesis Group and group president of PacTel Cos.

Donald Sterling has been named president and chief executive of KTIE-TV, a UHF station in Ventura County scheduled to begin broadcasting July 4.
