Club America of Mexico Beats Guadalajara, 3-1

A crowd estimated at 28,000 saw Club America of Mexico score two quick goals and hold on to defeat Guadalajara, 3-1, in an international soccer match at the Coliseum Tuesday night.
Carlos Hermosillo scored twice for America, his first goal coming 3:45 into the game. Eduardo Bacas gave America a 2-0 lead 7:55 into the first half, and Hermosillo’s second goal 32:04 into the second half made it 3-0.
Guadalajara’s Eduardo de la Torre scored two minutes with two minutes left.
