The Region : Traffic Normal on L.A.-Vegas Route

Interstate 15, the major route connecting Los Angeles to Las Vegas, is once again fully open to traffic. The highway’s northbound lanes had been closed since Wednesday when an Army armored personnel carrier knocked out some bridge supports. By late Saturday afternoon, Sgt. H. Roberts of the California Highway Patrol in Barstow said, traffic was flowing normally after repairs were completed.
